How I started out and progressed in my financial career.

Hashim Bafadhal first began his career as a financial advisor in 2013. He then moved on to Manulife in 2014, where he developed a niche vision for Islamic finance, gradually but surely growing into a respected leader in the field. Now, April 2023, he is the newly-minted Director of his own branch, AI Financial, making him one of the youngest Manulife Directors. His decade of experience in the industry might not compare with other directors in the field, but Hashim makes up for it with his fierce desire to grow and his tenacity to succeed despite adversities.

Hashim holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from Nanyang Technological University, and a Master's degree focused in Islamic Finance Practice from International Centre for Education in Islamic Finance (INCEIF).
